It is a mobile application that people can download to access credible and verified stories about Covid-19 in local languages (Wolof, Bambara and Pulaar). The unique feature of this application is that it is in audio format. Users have access on their smartphones to institutional communications on the management of the crisis. These are communiqués from the Ministry of Health and Social Action, but also from other ministries and institutions of the Republic. The application also collects recommendations from authorized health personnel and the World Health Organization (WHO) on prevention measures, with an exchange space with a specialist who answers all users’ questions on the new coronavirus. It also includes a variety of media content, including excerpts from radio and television press reviews. As well as communications from non-governmental organizations and civil society.
